iOS 13 Wishlist: Screen Sharing during FaceTime

iOS 13 Wishlist Continues with one of the most under-utilised feature across many Operating Systems: Screen Sharing.

Being able to share your screen with the person on the other end of your line can be proved very helpful in a wide variety of situations.

  • Have you ever asked from a friend to show you how you can go to a certain place or location?

  • Have ever seemed for assistance about a new iOS app or feature?

  • Did you ever wanted to help your friends or even kids in troubleshooting?

  • Have you ever asked from help from your company’s IT Helpdesk while on a business trip?

In all of the above, as well as in various other situations, being able to share your home-screen could have really helped you save valuable time and effort. Furthermore, it could help you increase your efficiency and productivity if we consider this happening at a corporate environment.

The question is how this could be implemented in iOS or MacOS? Our suggestion is simple: via the FaceTime application. Apple could enable a Screen Share functionality in the FaceTime app which will allow you to simply share your screen with the person(s) that you are currently chatting.

Both in the images of this post and at the video below, you can view a simple solutions and visualisation of this concept.
