Tim Cook Opens First Apple Store In India: Apple BKC opens in Mumbai (Pictures)
Apple has finally opened its first ever retail store in India. Apple BKC opened its gates in Mumbai with Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook attending the grand opening alongside Apple’s head of retail Deirdre O’ Brien.
After years of anticipation, Apple's first retail store in India is finally a reality. Located at the Reliance-owned Jio World Drive Mall in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), the store is set to open later this month. With its striking design and iconic architecture this Apple stores is set to change the game for the Indian tech market and especially Apple fans across the country.
