Apple Services Expanded In The Enterprise Space With Apple Business Essentials

Apple officially announced its new Apple Business Essentials for enterprises of up to 500 employees. The new service offered by Apple combines device management, iCloud Storage & 24/7 Apple Support for a single monthly subscription starting at $2.99 per user.

The new service rolls out today as a free beta service exclusively in the US for businesses of up to 500 employees. Full service is expected to be officially released during Spring 2022.

Apple has announced three Business Essentials plans:

  • Single device plan for $2.99 per device/month - suitable for users with one device including 50GB of storage.

  • Multidevice plan for $6.99 per user/month - suitable for users with up to three devices per user, with 200GB of storage.

  • Multidevice, more storage plan for $12.99 per user/month - suitable for users with up to three devices per user who need 2TB of storage.

Apple has also released the Apple Business Essentials app in beta. The application offers centralised administrative capabilities and management for secure on-boarding and device customisation.

Enterprises can now sign up for the beta, by visiting apple.com/business/essentials.
