Apple Releases tvOS 15.5.1 and HomePod Software 15.5.1 - What's New?
Apple just released tvOS 15.5.1 and HomePod software version 15.5.1. This new version was released in order to fix a new bug that could prevent Apple TV and HomePod devices from keep playing music in certain occasions.
Apple TV software update process is quite similar to the one that we follow on our iPhone. Users can simply go to their Settings Menu and choose Software Updates. Then select Update Software and a message appears if a new software version is available for your device. The process will start if you choose “Select Download and Install to start downloading.”
HomePod users need to go to the Home app. Then select Home > Home Settings > Software Update. Tap on Update if there’s a new Software version available for your HomePod. A spinning light appears on the top of your HomePod while the update lasts.
