Apple Releases iOS 15.0.2 & iPadOS 15.0.2: What's New
Apple has just released iOS 15.0.2 (build: 19A404) which is expected to bring a significant amount of bug fixes since iOS 15 has been rather inconsistent for a large amount of users. Despite the fact that iOS 15 has been a solid update without major bugs or performance issues, it has been quite infamous for carrying over many small and annoying bugs even on the brand new iPhone 13 series.
Apple is trying to address these issues with the release of iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 which was released a while ago. According to Apple’s release notes, these are the issues addressed in this software version:
Photos saved to your library from Messages could be deleted after removing the associated thread or message
iPhone Leather Wallet with MagSafe may not connect to Find My
AirTag might not appear in the Find My Items tab
CarPlay may fail to open audio apps or disconnect during playback
Device restore or update may fail when using Finder or iTunes for iPhone 13 models
iOS 15.0.1 was also focusing on bug fixes. Hence, iOS 15 is anticipated to improve the user experience and increase the iOS 15 adoption rate which has been much slower than last year.
As expected, Apple released iPadOS 15.0.2 alongside this iOS update. WatchOS 8.0.1 was also updated fixing some issues for Apple Watch Series 3 owners.
