The New iPad Models
The redesigned base iPad at 10.9” and the new iPad Pro with the M2 chip have both been released and bring some considerable changes.
The base iPad has been the star of the show because of its new design, the USB-C port replacing the old Lightning port and the brand new horizontally positioned front facing camera. The new iPad is available in silver, yellow, pink and light blue colors which means that Apple no longer released a Space Grey base iPad.

The new iPad Pro was expected to bring some considerable changes apart from the new chip, such as wireless charging and a new display on the 11-inch model. However, the only new new feature was the Apple Pencil Hover functionality together with the ability to shoot ProRes video. This new functionality together with the M2 chip is everything new brought by Apple in the 2022 iPad Pro series.
