iOS 17: Rumoured To Bring Changes In The Health & App Features
Apple's upcoming iOS 17 update has been generating a lot of buzz lately, with rumors circulating about changes to the Wallet and Health apps. According to a recent leak by @analyst941, mockups of the alleged design changes have surfaced, providing a glimpse of what we can expect.
The Wallet app is expected to receive a major overhaul, with a new navigation bar separating the app's different functions such as Cards, Cash, Keys, IDs, and Orders. The leaker claims there will also be a separate tab for passes and other features. The redesign will make it easier for users to find specific cards or passes and access transaction details. These tabs will appear or not depending on the availability of services in a region (e.g. Cash).

Meanwhile, the Health app's "Favorites" section under "Summary" will reportedly receive a card-style interface. Each card will display visual data, including colored graphs, tables, and other information. It is unclear how this design will work with the Trends and Highlights sections, though. While some doubt the accuracy of @analyst941's leaks, other reliable sources have confirmed that updates to the Wallet and Health apps are in the works. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, for instance, has revealed that Apple is developing new features for the Health app, such as mood tracking, and expanding its availability to the iPad. Gurman also confirmed that Apple is indeed working on a redesign of the Wallet App.
The truth behind the rumors will be unveiled soon enough. Apple is set to showcase its new updates, including iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14 and watchOS 10, at the WWDC keynote on June 5th.
