iPhone 13 Series: Battery Capacities Revealed
June 1st, 2021. 9TechEleven revealed the battery capacities of the iPhone 13 Series which indicated that Apple was moving towards a different direction this year, when it comes to battery life. The decision to increase the battery size of the iPhone 13 Series as a response to the poor battery performance of its previous generation of iPhones had been made.
All iPhones, apart from the iPhone 12 Pro Max, had poor battery life, primarily because of the small batteries that were put inside the 2020 iPhones. This was the reason behind our MagSafe Battery Pack Concept that we released last year and fortunately came into life by Apple in 2021.
September 14th, 2021. Apple, states clearly in its California Streaming event that all iPhone 13 models will have better battery life and larger battery size. Your prayers have been finally heard, as it seems.
In the previous days, Apple-backed iPhone reviews have been published and the first iPhone devices have been released to those who pre-ordered early. Hence, independent reviewers are also testing their brand new iPhones and alongside them, the first tear-downs revealing the actual battery capacity of each iPhone 13 models have been published and almost confirm our post from June 1st with the regular iPhone 13 having a different battery component compared to the iPhone 13 Pro.
