Apple has just rolled out the iOS 17.2.1 update only a week after the release of iOS 17.2, addressing persistent issues affecting iPhone users. The primary focus of this update is to fix important bug fixes according to Apple. However, the US tech giant has not yet shared any specific details about what’s being fixed. There is still no information available for any security updates arriving with iOS 17.2.1.

In tandem with the iOS update, Apple has also released corresponding updates for macOS. These include:

  • iOS 17.2.1 (Build Number: 21C66)

  • macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 (Build Number: 23C71)

Apple also seeded the following updates for users with older devices or still on previous operating systems:

  • iOS 16.7.4 (Build Number: 20H240)

  • iPadOS 16.7.4 (Build Number: 20H240)

Similarly to iOS 17.2.1, macOS 14.2.1 also offers bug fixes, although Apple has not disclosed specific details about the addressed issues.
