Apple’s April event is over. You have heard all about the new iMac, iPad Pro, purple iPhone 12, AirTag and perhaps the 2021 Apple TV 4K with the new Siri Remote. But the Spring Loaded event was packed with a plethora of accessories in new fashionable colours that were definitely not in the spotlight of the virtual keynote.

New iPhone 12 cases

Apple tends to release new case colors for the latest iPhones each Spring (and Autumn). This year is no exception. Hence, if you are looking to purchase a new Apple case for your iPhone you will end up having more options, since the tech giant has silently introduced six new cases for the iPhone 12 lineup.

Apple is now offering 4 new silicone cases (in Amethyst, Pistachio, Capri Blue or Cantaloupe colour) and 1 leather case (in Deep Violet colour) available for all four models, from the iPhone 12 Mini to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. You can purchase the silicone and leather cases at the usual price of $49 and $59 respectively (msrp).

Hermès is also providing another new case, available exclusively for the 6.1” iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro. The Bolduc leather case is made out of ultra premium materials with the signature Hermès design and of course price ($569.95).

New Apple Watch Bands

Following the tradition, Apple released new Apple Watch bands in fashionable spring 2021 colours. This means that you can now purchase a new sport band in Capri Blue, Cantaloupe or Mallard Green colour.

Apple is also updating its Sport Loop collection with four new colour options: Olive (green), Sea Salt (white), Sunflower (yellow) or Abyss (blue-purple).

Solo Loop collection is now available in three additional colors: Cantaloupe, Pistachio and Tomales Blue whereas the Braided Solo Loop collection has been enriched with three new colour options: Pistachio, Electric Orange and Pink Punch.

Furthermore, Chalk Leather Link (white) is the newly added band in the official leather watch band collection.

Last but not least, three new Nike Sport band colours have been added; Hasta/Light Silver, Chlorine Blue/Green Glow & Ironstone Black are the new colours specifically designed for the sportier-feeling Apple Watch owners.

All options are available both for the 40mm or 44mm Apple Watch and each band costs $49. Solo Loop and Solo Braided Loop collections are exclusively available via Apple.com or Apple Stores. Special mention to the Hermès watch band is following below.

Hermès Accessories for the iPhone 12 & the Apple Watch.

The French-established luxury brand just introduced new watch bands for the Apple Watch on top of the aforementioned iPhone 12 / 12 Pro leather case. Hermès products are priced as luxury accessories and Apple Watch bands and iPhone 12 cases are no exception to this rule.

There are five new Jumping Single Tour bands. Two versions are available in both 40mm and 44mm sizes (Noir/Bleu Saphir and Rouge de Cœur/Rouge H). A third one is exclusively reserved for the 40mm Apple Watch (Orange/Rose Mexico), whereas the two more bands are only available for the larger 44mm Apple Watch (Kraft/Rouge de Cœur and Bleu Saphir/Orange). Each bands is made out of Hermès fabric and costs $319.

Hermès was also making the signature Swift Leather Double Tour bands. 4 new colours have now been added to the iconic Fauve Barénia choice. Current collection is exclusively available for the smaller 40mm Apple Watch and each band will cost you $489.

New MagSafe Wallet

Apple also unveiled a new colour option (Arizona) of the iPhone 12 MagSafe Leather Wallet that was designed to accompany the launch of the purple iPhone 12 / 12 Mini.
