Apple Vision Pro Compatible Accessories

Apple has officially launched pre-orders for the much-anticipated Apple Vision Pro, simultaneously unveiling a range of accessories for its brand-new mixed reality headset. Check the first Vision Pro accessories below or click here if you would like to see what the Vision Pro can offer.

Apple Vision Pro Travel Case

Apple has designed a travel case specifically for the Apple Vision Pro which costs $199. According to Apple, the Vision Pro Travel Case features a retractable handle and specially designed compartments for the Vision Pro battery, ZEISS Optical Inserts, Apple Vision Pro Cover, and additional accessories. The specifications of the case, as provided by Apple, include:

  • Ripstop outer shell

  • Polycarbonate protective structure

  • Microfiber inner lining

  • Retractable handle

This addition represents a welcome enhancement for the Apple Vision Pro and contrasts sharply with Apple's approach to the AirPods Max, for which no official first-party carrying case was introduced.

Spigen Klasden Pouch

Spigen is introducing a cost-effective alternative to Apple’s official Travel Case with its third-party Vision Pro Pouch. This pouch, designed for Apple's new mixed reality headset, is available at less than half the price of Apple’s solution.

This pouch is already a hit as it’s already sold out on Amazon and Spigen’s website.

ZEISS Optical Inserts

The Apple Vision Pro is not designed to be worn with traditional optical glasses. Users requiring vision correction or reading assistance need to order Apple's optical inserts, developed in collaboration with Zeiss, either through Apple.com or, at a later stage, through Apple Stores. There are two types of ZEISS Optical Inserts available: Prescription and Readers. Each type is sold as a pair, specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the Apple Vision Pro. By answering a few questions, and submitting a supported prescription from US eye-care professionals, Apple helps consumers to determine the correct type of insert. Pricing of the ZEISS inserts starts from $99.

Apple Vision Pro Battery

The Apple Vision Pro includes one battery in the box, which may or may not suffice for your needs. Each battery provides approximately 2 hours of general usage or 2.5 hours of video playback. That's right – it's not enough to watch the entire length of movies like 'Titanic' or 'Avatar' on a single charge. You would need to recharge the battery or switch to a spare one.

However, the battery can be charged while in use through its USB-C port. This feature allows for convenient charging options, such as using a long USB-C cable or connecting to a power bank while using your Vision Pro at the same time. This can see you from spending additional $199 for a second Vision Pro battery.

Battery Holder by Belkin

Apple Vision Pro’s battery needs to be either put in your pocket or hold it in your hand while standing still and not sitting. However, Belkin is offering a more convenient solution with its brand new Battery Holder specifically designed for the battery of the Apple Vision Pro.

According to Apple: “The Battery Holder offers a quick and easy way to clip the battery onto a belt or pants, while the cross-body strap gives those without clip access a great way to be hands-free while experiencing Apple Vision Pro.

Belkin’s battery holder will be available for $49.95.

Light Seal & Light Seal Cushion - Solo Knit Band - Dual Loop Band

Apple is also offering the Light Seal, Light Seal Cushion, Solo Knit Band, and Dual Loop Band as separate accessories. These are available for customers who need replacements or additional units due to wear and tear. The Light Seal Cushion is priced at $29, the Light Seal at $199 while each of the bands is available for a retail price of $99.
