New AirPods 5B59 Firmware Version - How To Update & Check Your Version
New version
Apple has released a new firmware for the AirPods Gen 2, AirPods Gen 3, AirPods Pro Gen 1 and the AirPods Max. The new firmware version is 5B59 replacing the former firmware version 5B58. Most probably AirPods Pro Gen 2 will also be updated soon.
Apple doesn’t disclose any information related to any changes coming with this version. However, Apple usually improves connectivity, battery life, sound quality and/or ANC performance with each new firmware update. In this update, the ANC seems to be marginally better in our pair.
