Apple Officially Launching Apple Music Classical | Details & Availability
Apple Music Classical is a new application dedicated to classical music from Apple. Since Apple's acquisition of Primephonic in August 2021, the release of this application was highly anticipated, as it was announced by Apple shortly after the acquisition.
Apple Music Classical is already available on the App Store, and you can set a notification to be informed when it becomes available for download on March 28. Apple claims that it may be the ultimate classical music experience for Apple Music subscribers. With over 5 million tracks, including new releases and exclusive albums, subscribers will have unlimited access to the world's largest classical music catalog. The app is available at no additional cost for Apple Music subscribers.
The search function is optimized specifically for the classical music genre, and users can instantly find any recording they're looking for by composer, work, conductor, or even catalog number. The app includes hundreds of Essentials playlists, insightful composer biographies, deep-dive guides for many key works, and intuitive browsing features.
Users can enjoy the highest audio quality available, which is 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless, and experience immersive spatial audio with Dolby Atmos.
