WWDC 2024 Keynote: Everything we Expect
About WWDC 2024
WWDC 2024 is just around the corner, and Apple fans and developers across the world will have the chance to view iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, watchOS 11, tvOS 18, visionOS 2, and more during the opening keynote and throughout the entire week of the event.
As usual, Apple dedicates a week each year to announce, preview, and showcase the upcoming suite of operating systems that power its powerful devices. This enables every Apple user, from casual multimedia consumers to heavy professionals, to deliver their best creations or simply enhance their user experience.
WWDC 2024 will take place between June 10 and June 14. Apple’s opening keynote is scheduled for June 10 at 10 AM Cupertino time. The event will be streamed online, but Apple has allowed select developers who applied online and media from across the globe to attend its HQ in Cupertino and watch the event in person.
WWDC also includes a plethora of in-person and online events focusing on the new technologies introduced during the conference for Apple’s upcoming operating systems. What’s particularly interesting for consumers are the new features that iOS 18 will bring, as well as the updates arriving with the rest of Apple’s operating systems.

Everything New we Expect
Apple Intelligence
Apple is anticipated to focus heavily on AI during today’s Apple Event. The US tech giant is expected to brand all AI features under the name “Apple Intelligence,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Apple Intelligence will rely on both cloud-based AI and on-device AI features. This means that the on-device AI capabilities will require significant processing power, so not all iPhone models will support every feature.

New Hardware
Apple isn’t anticipated to introduce new hardware during WWDC 2024, although it’s not unlikely to see a preview of the M4 chip for upcoming Mac models. However, consumers in several countries will be fortunate to see Apple releasing the Vision Pro in additional markets outside the US. France, Germany, China, Japan, Singapore, and the UK are expected to be the next markets where Apple will introduce its mixed reality headset by June 15th. Canada will most probably be included in the aforementioned markets too.
