October 5, 2011 was a sad day for Steve Jobs, his family and his numerous fans around the world. All rumours regarding Steve Jobs’ health were unfortunately confirmed, as his family announced Steve Jobs passing on that morning.
A day before Apple had announced the new iPhone 4s which introduced Siri to the world. This was another breakthrough feature from Apple which popularised virtual assistant on smartphones. This Apple Event was bittersweet for Apple executives, who had a multiyear professional relationship with Steve Jobs since most were aware of his situation. Steve Jobs didn’t have the chance to announce Siri to the world this time.
