Apple Announces WWDC '22 Schedule + Apple Wallpapers
WWDC ‘22
Following the official announcement of WWDC ‘22 last month, Apple shared earlier today the schedule of this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference 2022. The long anticipated opening keynote will take place on June 6, 2022 at 10 a.m. PDT. Traditionally, Apple is following this pattern during the last years and didn’t surprise us today as well.
The “Platforms State of the Union” keynote will also be hosted three hours later and it’s probably the most anticipated event by developers across the world. According to Apple: “Developers will learn how they can take their apps to the next level with a deeper dive into the new tools, technologies, and advances across Apple platforms. Platforms State of the Union will stream via the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.”
At the end of the first day, Apple will once again announce the Apple Design Awards. “Every year, the Apple Design Awards recognize and celebrate the art, craft, creativity, and technical expertise that Apple developers bring to their work. The Apple Design Awards will stream via the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.”

iOS 16 Delayed?
Based on the release schedule of previous years, the first developer beta version of iOS 16 is expected to be released at the end of the 1st day. However, there have been some rumours supporting that iOS 16 Beta 1 will not be ready for release on that day. These reports mention that iOS 16 Developer Beta 1 will be available for developers at the end or even after WWDC ‘22 instead.
